Irene Carrano Fara, born January 20, 1936, died on August 11, 2012, with her family by her side, in Yonkers, NY.  She was 76 years old.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Fara, her three children, Charlie, Robert, and Barbara, her seven grand-children, Michelle, Michael, Robert, Frankie, James, Genevieve, and Angelina, as well as her two great grandchildren, Amanda and Alyssa.

She was a loving woman and is deeply missed by her family.

Visiting hours will be held at the Flynn Memorial Home on Tuesday, August 14th from the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Margaret of Cortona Church, 6000 Riverdale Ave., Bronx, NY 10471, on Wednesday, August 15th at 9:45 AM.

Committal will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Jackson Ave. and Saw Mill River Rd., Hastings-on-Hudson, NY 10706.
